XL Brands DriSeal ONYX Ultimate Moisture-Vapor-Barrier Coating and Primer can be used on both concrete and wood substrates and is suitable for a wide selection of flooring types. It is a durable, water-based system that primes, reduces substrate moisture vapor emissions, and also works as a barrier for concrete alkalinity. DriSeal ONYX is pre-mixed, and is formulated in black to offer a great visual indication of coverage.
Features:

Coverage using a 3/8″ nap roller:
- One coat (4.1 mil) – approx. 200 sf per gallon
- As a primer or over high-porosity concrete (diluted 1:1 with water) – approx. 500-800 sf per gallon
- Two coats (total 8.2 mil) – approx. 100 sf per gallon
Traffic:
- Light foot traffic can be allowed when the surface is tack free to the touch
- Installation of flooring material may usually begin 2 hours after the second coat
- Times may vary due to substrate conditions, temperature, and humidity
Shelf life: 18 months from date of manufacture in unopened, original, properly stored container.
