We offer a service to replace the retractable cords for “Q-Cord” Museum Stanchion
The two cords cannot be replaced by the customer as we use a special cord and custom tooling in the factory. This process requires significant labor to rebuild the posts.

- Disassemble the post
- Replace the retractable assembly
- Replace both cords and cord ends
- Reassemble and prepare for transport
Description:
- 1-6: $150 each
- 7-20: $130 each
- 21-99: $125 each
- 100+: $120 each
Shipping cost is additional and will be added to the order.
To reduce weight, you only need to ship the post to us without the base.
We can provide empty boxes for you to pack the posts.
For very large projects, it may be possible for our team to replace the cords on location.
We also offer replacement bases and base covers.
Due to the detailed nature of this service and the shipping arrangements involved, we need to provide you with a quote. This service is not available for online ordering.
