Palmetto Road Urethane Wood Flooring Adhesive is a low-VOC, one-component, moisture-cured urethane adhesive (designed for use on high moisture slabs) for the installation of multi-ply engineered wood, high-density fiberboard core wood flooring, parquet, and bamboo over properly prepared concrete substrates. Palmetto Road Urethane’s superior strength and elasticity give quieter, cushioned floor installations. Designed for east trowel-on, non-slump applications.

Features:

• No moisture or pH testing required when installing engineered plank on bare concrete substrates above or on-grade.
• For above or on-grade installations of solid wood, bamboo plank, high-density fiberboard core wood, Centaur rubber flooring, and below-grade installations of multi-ply engineered wood, Palmetto Road Urethane may be used on bare concrete slabs with relative humidity (RH) readings up to 90% per the latest version of ASTM F2170 and pH between 8.0-10.0.

Approved Trowels and Spread Rate – Approve wood flooring & finger block parquet:

• As a moisture vapor barrier & adhesive:  Up to 5/8″ thick, using 1/4″x1/4″ saw tooth trowel – 30-35 sf per gallon.
• As an adhesive only:  Up to 1/2″ thick, using 3/16″x5/32″ saw tooth trowel – 50 sf per gallon
• As an adhesive only:  Greater than 1/2″ thick, using 1/4″x1/4″x1/8″ SQ notch trowel – 40 sf per gallon

Open Time:  60 mins at 70°F and 45% RH

Cure Time:  Under ambient conditions of around 70°F and 45% RH, allow adhesive to set for 24 hours before allowing normal traffic.

Shelf Life:  12 months from date of manufacture in original, unopened container.
