Merco Tape® M500 Series Industrial Duct Tape is an extremely high quality, co-extruded duct tape made right here in America. We buy what we feel is simply the best HVAC, Industrial, Contractor duct tape on the market. (And we should know the best: We’ve been selling duct tapes since 1972.) We convert it to the size you are used to, whether 48mm or 72mm wide, package it and present it as one exceptionally compelling product.
It offers an aggressive and high tack, natural rubber adhesive yet offers a consistent, low force unwind off the roll. (Aggressive? That is an understatement. Look at the adhesion levels: 131 oz. per inch of width, versus 40 to 70 for the other brands).
Our Merco Tape® M500 Series Industrial Duct Tape provides all-weather use with excellent holding power to both poly sheeting and steel. It is hand tearable in both cross and machine directions and importantly hangs straight. We spec’ed a high quality waterproof polyethylene film with a cloth scrim making this the tape of choice for heavy duty sealing, seaming, repairing, holding and waterproofing applications. It’s quick stick makes this a favorite of Remediation and Restoration specialists as well as demanding industrial, HVAC, contractor, and environmental contractors. Merco Tape® M500 Series Industrial Duct Tape meets some very tough standards: US Green Building Council-LEED® Contributor Product, UL 723, FSI 0/SDI 0.
