Description
From the Gulf of Finland to the Crimean Peninsula, fighting on the Eastern Front often took place on or near water. The Soviets used the bronekaters (armoured boats) to penetrate deep into estuaries and river systems to provide a platform for amphibious assaults and to give supporting firepower. These steel-hulled vessels were festooned with multiple cannon and machine gun turrets, and able to carry a whole squad of troops.
In games of Bolt Action they can be included in Armoured Platoons, though of course they can only move on water, so are most suited to narrative scenarios.
This is a resin and metal kit requiring extensive assembly.
